5g makes visible the invisible weight we carry. The sculpture embodies the estimated weekly intake of microplastics, forming a looping human torso that contains a year's accumulation of ingested plastic. Its restless repetition evokes discomfort and persistence. Contrasting blue and transparent materials reveal what we recognise versus what enters unnoticed. Hand-cut and labour-intensive, the work resists mass production. Fragile yet enduring, the vessel asks us to reconsider our habits.
